Jun  2004 Roland Garros 2,812 rackets strung ! More than 2800 rackets were strung during the French Open 2004. Based in the animation space, 42 top stringers coming from all over the world took care of the players rackets during the 3 weeks of the tournament. Some facts : . 2812 rackets strung . Highest tension : Tommy Haas with 68 lbs . Lowest tension : Julian Knowle with 48 lbs The biggest consumers : -The Williams’sisters : 27 rackets each -Xavier Malisse : 57 rackets -Bob Bryan : 31 rackets -Carlos Moya : 28 rackets Among the winners and finalists : · Anastasia Myskina : 11 rackets (54 lbs). · Elena Dementieva : 15 rackets (51 lbs). · Gaston Gaudio: 28 rackets (58 lbs). · Guillermo Coria :30 rackets (53 lbs). This year, 14 stringers came from many countries to share this unique experience of top level stringing. They came from Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, United States, Canada, Latvia, Czech Rep, Grece and Netherlands.
